Diabetes Care for a Lifetime Program Sponsors Professional Update

UMC's Diabetes Care for a Lifetime Program is offering an "Update on the Clinical Management of Diabetes Mellitus," a one-day seminar for health professionals and students set for Saturday, Nov. 7, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Room 8403.

The seminar will focus on new options in the management of both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including updates on diabetes research, nutrition, oral medications and insulin therapy, benefits of exercise, and psychosocial issues.

The seminar is only $15 for AHSC students and staff ($50 for all others). For more information, call 694-4811.
