Lori Stratton Appointed Associate Director of Development for
UA's Steele Children's Research Center

Lori Stratton, MPH Lori Stratton, MPH, has been appointed associate director of development for The University of Arizona's Steele Children's Research Center. Ms. Stratton will be responsible for managing and directing development and fundraising activities for the Steele Center.

Ms. Stratton earned a bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing from The University of Arizona, and a master's degree from the university in public health, specializing in biostatistics.

Ms. Stratton has many years of special event planning and fundraising experience. She has been actively involved in fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk for Diabetes, and participated in fundraising for Sam Hughes School.

Ms. Stratton served on the Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation from 2002-2006, and was one of the co-founders of the Southern Arizona Women's Active 20-30 Club, which raises funds for the Steele Center.

"Lori's background in event planning, fundraising and biostatistics makes her a great fit for the Steele Center. Her clear passion for children's health issues will enable her to communicate authentically with our volunteers, supporters and donors," says Steele Center director Fayez K. Ghishan, MD.

"I'm looking forward to combining my interests in research and children's health into my role as associate director of development for the Steele Center," says Ms. Stratton.
