* The event will be moderated by Eskild Petersen, MD, an internationally known expert on infectious disease who is chief of staff at University Medical Center and chief of the UA Section of Infectious Diseases. Scheduled topics and presenters are:
"Bioterrorism: Protecting the Public's Health" -- Carlos C. "Kent" Campbell, MD, MPH, director, AHSC Initiative for Health Care Improvement. Former interim dean of the UA College of Public Health, Dr. Campbell worked for 20 years at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
"Physician's Protocol for Anthrax" -- Peter Kelly, MD, clinical assistant professor of medicine, Section of Infectious Diseases, AHSC Phoenix Campus and a representative of the Arizona Department of Health Services.
