WHERE?                The Arizona Biomedical Collaborative (ABC) Building Construction Site

WHY?               The construction marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration between The University of Arizona and Arizona State University.

 

 

The start of construction of the Arizona Biomedical Collaborative (ABC) Building on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration between The University of Arizona and Arizona State University.  The ABC project is the first building that will be shared by the two universities and also the first public building dedicated to research in Phoenix.

 

Funding for the ABC project was provided by HB 2529 (Legislative Appropriation for Research Infrastructure) which fast forwarded research funding for the UA, ASU and NAU.  The facility will house the ASU Department of Biomedical Informatics and wet lab space for the UA College of Medicine for diabetes, cancer and neurological research.
