DATE/TIME:         Beginning Mar. 7– every Tuesday for four weeks

                                 All classes are from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

 

PLACE:                  The University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix Campus, 4001 N. 3^rd St., Suite 415 (southeast corner of Third St. and Indian School Rd.)

 

COST:                     The four-week series is $50.00 (includes lecture book and refreshments).

The time is here! Now is your chance to experience medical school without the homework, exams, and tuition.  Mini-Medical School is a vital tool to educate the community about the College of Medicine’s expansion to a four-year program in Phoenix, as well as to provide community members with a hand’s-on medical school experience.  This is an opportunity to learn about medicine, current health issues and the College of Medicine in a way that is fun and understandable.

 

This popular evening series is now registering for the spring session of Mini-Med School.  The session begins Mar. 7 and continues each Tuesday evening through Mar. 28, 2006.  Leading faculty members from the UA College of Medicine will present interactive lectures on subjects related to curriculum experienced by real medical school students.  All lectures are held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the College of Medicine - Phoenix Campus, 4001 North Third St., Suite 415.

 

Following is the spring schedule:

 

March 7 – “Ethics in Medicine” 

 

March 14 – “Inside the Mind of a Child”

 

March 21 – “Venomous Creatures”

 

March 28 – “Skin Cancer in Arizona…  Surviving the Sun”
