1.  DR. GROSSMAN RECEIVES ESTEEMED HONOR

Dr. Michael Grossman, MD, FACP, has been selected by his peers to receive a Mastership award, one of the American College of Physicians most distinguished honors.  Mastership in the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine is bestowed upon select Fellows who have achieved recognition in medicine by exhibiting pre-eminence in practice or medical research, holding positions of high honor, or making significant contributions to medical science or the art of medicine.  Each year a number of individuals at the very top of their field are nominated for Mastership, but not all are elected.

Dr. Grossman is the associate dean for graduate medical education for the AHSC Phoenix Campus and played a key role in the development of the Arizona Medical Education Consortium, formerly the Phoenix Area Medical Education Consortium (PAMEC), for which he is the executive director.
